Buffy The Vampire Slayer

On the set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer

"The highlight of our career so far has to be our debut single 'I Quit'," says Jamie, 20, the band's vocalist, "It not only got us noticed here, but in America too. The producers of the teen TV show, Buffy, The Vampire Slayer, liked the song so much that they included it on the soundtrack to the series. It meant going to Los Angeles to re-shoot the video on the set of Buffy in Hollywood and playing ourselves as evil vampire twins! The track's since been going down a storm there!"

In the summer of 1999 the makers of Buffy the Vampire Slayer invited Hepburn to Los Angeles to reshoot Hepburn's video for "I Quit" with a new, Buffy theme. The girls appear in a video featuring Sarah Michelle Geller battling vampires whilst the girls play a set on the stage of The Bronze nightclub.

Hepburn appear as mortals, fighting on the side of Buffy, and then appear as black-clad vampires watching themselves performing on stage. "It was great fun," says Sarah. "We had to plaster on white face paint and they made our hair really big. We even had vampire teeth made for us. They made Lisa look really goofy!!"

"Working on the set of Buffy was like a dream come true for me" says Sarah. "I have always been a huge Buffy fan and I was going nuts when I found out we were going to do the video over there. And now we're on the soundtrack and the series one DVD box set I still can't believe it. Now I've done the film I would really love to feature in an episode of Buffy or Angel - one can but dream I suppose!"

"We stayed in the heart of Beverley Hills in the most gorgeus hotel," Sarah says. "We arrived in LA a few days before the video shoot to adjust to the time difference. So I spent most days under a shady palm at the hotel swimming pool drinking copious amounts of White Russian! I was tanked up and ready to go for the shoot!!!" she laughs. "The shopping was great as well. We went down to Santa Monica Boulevard a couple of times and spotted 'Abercombie and Fitch.' As you can imagine most of us were skint by the time we got home!"
